Humourous but effective! At home wax

The other day I came downstairs to find my mom sitting at the bar with her legs up on stool and newspaper spread out underneath her legs. She had beside her a baking sheet with wax paper on it and her Parissa Warm Wax kit ready to go. I found this all very fun to watch considering I went to school to learn how to do this. I was actually quite surprised how well she was doing, and I only had one little suggestion for her... to stay closer to her leg as she pulled the strip off.

The wax seemed to have a good consistency, the wax strips we're a decent size and after wax oil was great. My mom says my dad uses the oil as an aftershave balm as well.

1. apply the wax in the direction of the hair growth
2. apply the wax strip - firmly
3. pull the strip off (fast) in the direction of the hair growth staying close to your skin
4. keep going in some sort of systematic direction (so you don't miss any hairs) you can apply some baby powder to help if your hair is quite light.
5. Slather the oil on and gently remove any excess wax with a damp cool towel (very soothing).

Follow the directions in the box... as they know their product the best!

My mom thinks she'll be able to do about three lower leg waxes with her kit (Which was $16).

Not a bad deal!
